Product Description
Now with end rails included and separate roof details for a smoother print.
This Baltimore & Ohio 45 foot coach was built in 1856 to the design of Henry Tyson, the railroad's master of machinery. The model is based on two oft-reproduced contemporary drawings. The correct trucks and both semi-working and working link & pin couplers are included, as well as an interor insert with seats, toilet and car stoves. All that's needed to finish is wheelsets ( .540" axles, MT or similar). Use .010" wire for the end railings, for which locator holes are provided, or use the slightly oversized railings included. (You will need to enlarge the holes or trim off the pins if using these). The ends are also made to accommodate Republic Locomotive Works etched brass end platforms with railings (p/n 2009). Trucks mount with #0 screws or the pins provided. A Microscale Z/Nn3 coupler can be substituted for the link and pins, using the same mounting hole. br>
Because of its small size and fine detail, Frosted Ultra Detail is preferred.

Clean with alcohol before painting. Use Bestine rubber cement remover if particularly greasy. Acrylics recommended.

Part Number R02i. Note that the photos show a preproduction test model, with the roof left unglued to the body and without couplers or interior.
Since this model has very small details be sure to check the "print anyway" box at checkout to be sure it can be printed.
