The Vityaz (Russian: ‘knight’) is a high-speed interceptor designed for the Imperial Russian Air Force. It exemplifies a number of standard Russian design motifs. It has a large cargo capacity (for its size and role), a heavy missile armament, and carries little armor or protection. The Vityaz is quite expensive due to it’s a massive 468kW 16 cylinder 53.1L water-cooled engine. The ship is armed with three Gatling guns, and its main armament is a set of twelve Chetvert Rockets (Chetvert is a Russian unit about 7inch).
