I ordered this in polished alumide. Unfortunately, I received an email from the company saying that if polished, it would break, so I changed my order to alumide. The fangs and tongue came out in great detail, though the eyes are a little hard to see. In addition, the alumide feels a little brittle (it's strong enough to withstand the pressure I'm putting on it to bend, but I'm not sure how well it would fare if I actually tried to put a lot of pressure on it, or how easily the head will stay on after daily use)- next time I think this would be better in plastic and painted. Overall though the design is really nice and I would order it again, especially to compliment a Halloween costume. I should also say I think this ring is around a 7 1/2 ring size (that's my best estimate).
