I just got it painted, the only thing i would be cautious of is painting the fuel tanks BEFORE the final coat of orange is applied.

I just got mine today. Straight out of the the box the wheels turn, the only change I would make would be exaggerating the flanges slightly to make it easier to get it lined up on the track.
