Dragon Pendant v1

This is a photo of v0 of the model! The updated model is much more detailed!

An incredibly talented artist friend of mine (Chantell Hager; http://phantasyfaces.com/) drew some pictures of a dragon for me, so I might model this creature in 3D for fun and practice. Seeing as how it is a decently cool model, I thought I'd surprise her with a pendant of the model in return. This is a slight revision on my first Shapeways model. Some of the details that I had designed into the model were too small to show up in this size, so I revised the model to accentuate some of those features.

This piece is even better when held in the hand. I am extremely pleased with the result (I printed in alumide).
This would be great as a stand-alone sculpture, I could see it done larger (perhaps 10-14cm) in WSF, I'd love to paint it and make a stand for it.
This used to be available in stainless; I ordered it, and it's gorgeous. Extremely sharp, I have to say, particularly at the wingtips; do NOT trip while wearing it. Admiral, you should absolutely offer this in metal. My compliments to you and to Ms. Hager.
Beautiful piece, you should offer it in polished stainless steel.
