A tiny ship, the USS Coquille is a national guard cutter and the most common ship in the fleet. It is also the oldest class, having seen numerous upgrades throughout its long service life. The most notable of which is the single keel mounted torpedo launcher slung between the two engine struts. This retro-fit was hurried into production once torpedo technology became available.
