OK, so I probably went a bit overboard with this design. I was just writing a comment to my design 'Ring - Diamond' and I stated as advise: "if you want to use steel diamonds, go big". So I got to thinking, what would be the biggest you could do, whilst still be able to wear the ring...?

I usually try to keep the price under $30, but in this case even after hollowing out, it stayed pretty expensive.Contact me if you want a different size.

The wireframe model is finally done, though I had some problems with the Collada exporter for this model. Check out Big Diamond Wire.

Hi, That is a good idea. I have also tried to thicken/pump-up the walls, but the end result was non-manifold, probably due to overlapping polygons. I am going to give your idea try. Check back in a few days.

Hi! Have you tried/considered to remove all that unseen inner wall or possibly replacing it with a mesh of bars? That might reduce the price but it probably looks a bit odd until you wear it. The idea just hit me and I thought I'd share it with you to see what you think about it :-) One would have to be carefull though to avoid any sharp edges that might cut the finger.. and a large gaping hole without smooth edges may get it hard to pull off the finger if it's a bit "swollen".
