@AdamOnDemand The thing I noticed about all of those is that they are lacking a catch tray for any drips. The only models I've been able to find anywhere with that feature cost over $100. Unfortunately there isn't much I can do on the cost - my margins are already pretty slim. If you want cheap blades that work really well, I've used these with great success and it works out to $0.02/shave, and their customer service is great: http://www.westcoastshaving.com/DORCO-ST-300-Double-Edge-Razor-Blades-100-Blades_p_16.html

Thanks for the quick, thorough, accommodating response. I'm finding the price a bit of an issue. Check out the prices of razor & brush stands at FrankShaving.com and CNVigour.cn (and their shops on Amazon and eBay, http://stores.ebay.com/iantangsshavingworkshop ), where you can get some of the best (knock-offs or originals) for about $7-40. Your design IS unique, and it is customized, true. But, I switched to double edge shaving driven by a cost control motive, which, although now I'm getting into it and willing to spend a bit, is still a motivating factor.

@AdamOnDemand You can see all the material options in the pull down order menu. In the photo is WSF. Cutout is an interesting idea. PM me with your email address and material choice, I'll invoice you on PayPal for the same cost as the current models and have the updated model sent to you. Normally a customization like that would cost you more, but I think I might be able to sell it to others, so I'll price it like a standard item. It's at the end of a long to-do list right now, but a presale bumps it up to the top.

Nice. What's it made out of? What's the finish? Can it come in colors? Patterns? Here's an idea: the main post is clean, neat, but I'd like to see a little more air. How about a cutout on the main post in the shape of a double edge razor blade silhouette?
