I will make a 21mm ring for you and inform when it is ready. The price will be 10% higher because the volume will 10% bigger.

Sad to hear that smaller is too big for her. If you look the second picture for this ring. That's the position you should put the rings first and then just bend them together.

Vesa, I got the rings, but I can' put them together, any tricks? Besides, the small is too big for my wife, she's pretty disappoint.

ok, let me know the links later...

This is ok. I will try to do this change today.
December 18, 2012, 6:54 am
OK, the that's fine. I wan to make 2 rings, one is 19mm inside diameter and the other one is 17.5mm inside diameter, both rings should have a capital letter "J" mark on both components of the ring, do you think it's OK?

End of the year is not possible. My guess is that it would arrive like second week year 2013.
December 17, 2012, 3:17 pm
Mmmm...ok, let me take it, but do you think I can get it before end of the year?
December 17, 2012, 1:16 pm
Unfortunately timeschedule is too tight. Delivery time for Stainless Steel is 12 business days.
December 17, 2012, 1:01 pm
then when the 2 rings can be ready? cos 28th of Dec is my wife;s birthday, I want to get it before that day...
December 17, 2012, 12:50 pm
Unfortunately the delivery time for stainless steel does not allow them to be ready before Christmas. Please, let me know if you still are interested from this idea and I will design J&J rings for you.
December 17, 2012, 10:00 am
thanks, so how about that I want to order 2 sets of rings, can you help to mark the letter "J" in both components of the ring, and one ring is 19mm inside diamemter and the other one is 17.5mm inside diameter, do you think it's possible? I want it before X'mas, is it OK?
December 17, 2012, 9:40 am
There should be enough space for a letter J in one inside corner. The size of the letter J would then be like 3mm x 3mm and I think this metal printing can do it.
December 17, 2012, 7:16 am
thanks, understand, but how about 1 character only, let's say a letter "J" in both rings?
December 17, 2012, 1:51 am
jasonwwk, unfortunately the area for the name in is so narrow that it would be unreadable when printed in stainless steel. I would recommend to print this as it is and then use a local goldsmith to engrave names there.
December 14, 2012, 9:09 am
I want to print my wife's and my name on each one separately, can you do that?

Oh, I'm sorry. My mistake. I have not followed the new material coming to Shapeways. I removed it now from the list. Thanks for the comment.

In Alumide it is pretty worthless, my bad. Just take this as advice!

I've shared this puzzle ring with colleagues, and observed an interesting phenomenon. Many had trouble finding the elegant solution, so they resorted to awkwardly forcing the pieces together. The material is sufficiently supple that it easily allows this 'cheat' solution, whereupon the users discover they cannot disassemble the puzzle the same way! By subsequently disassembling the ring, they intuitively learn the more elegant solution. (And they typically repeat it until they master the movement.) It's an uncommon puzzle that tolerates 'cheating' yet still guides the user toward a better solution.

I think you should offer just one half individually, so if I wanted to I could buy one in white and one in terra cotta, for example.
