Wonderful piece. I've got this in the WSF and it is gorgeous. I haven't tried grating cheese with it, but the mesh is very sharp indeed, especially inside where it is almost like teeth holding in the 'prey'. I can easily imagine walking an alien shore and seeing one of these 'bioforms' washed up on the beach ahead or me, the skeleton of a real animal.

BTW, there is a link at bathsheba.com to a webinar on the design of this piece. It's about an hour long, but is so fascinating watching it feels like only 15 minutes.

Looks like you can grate cheese with it xD. Looks really cool, nice work!
I printed this in Limestone SF, and while it's nice, I wish I'd chosen White SF. I posted pictures and more extensive comments in the "It arrived!" forum. Summary: this is an outstanding model that printed almost perfectly and is a true delight.
White, Bluejeans, Terracotta and Limestone differ only in color, so whichever you like is good. I favor white or limestone, but that's a personal preference.
what material is the best to select when ordering this one?
Very cute, but we all know what it will grow up to become. Or do we?
