There is some space needed behind the flange as the tweeter is sticking out at the back. Original designed to be placed on a Porsche 911 door card where the manual window crank used to go. Electric window cars still have the cavity in the door making it an easy fit.

Might require some minor sanding to fit the tweeter. Designed with tight tolerances. It further requires you to remove the standard mounting flange. Easely done by heating the glue with a hairdryer.
