I like to turn my copy of this one over and feel it and try to speculate on what sort of animal went with this shell. Was the shell on the exterior of the animal or was it an interior shell like cuttlefish have? It's an enigma, like the conodont animal was, but with the resolution always out of grasp.

I bought this thing in steel; the points are really pointy, ouch! Pretty convincing, too!

It does have this much material: active surfaces are volumetric. It's also a bit bigger than the orientation makes it look, the longest dimension is actually 10.5cm. I've uploaded another version at 8cm, which comes in about half the price. Thanks for your comments!

Nifty object, but why is the price so high? It looks appropriately hollowed. Maybe a glitch?
