Adapt old Mamiya NC1000 / CS lenses to your modern EOS DSLR camera while retaining inifinity focus and aperture function.
Best Practices & Caveats
Follow these rules and you can safely use your CS glass on your modern EOS camera.
-When installing or removing the adapter the CS lens aperture ring must be in the f/16 setting.
-Install the adapter to the CS lens first, then seat the lens to your DSLR like any other Canon EF lens. This adapter works like the
Mamiya NC1000 / CS P-mount for M42 Screw lenses.
-this adapter utlizes a FRICTION-FIT-ONLY. This means when focusing and adjusting aperture you must secure the lens barrel with one hand, using the other hand to rotate the mechanisms to ensure the lens does not rotate and fall out.
-While installed Do not move the aperture ring to the "Auto" positon (the orange button). Doing so may result in damage to the lens.
-When not in use leave the lens in the f/16 position to relax tension on the lens mechanisms, or just remove the adapter entirely.
-Although Mamiya ZE lenses are similar to CS lenses, this adapter is NOT compatible with ZE lenses. The mechanical parts on ZE lenses are too long and in the way if you try to use this adapter. Best case, it wont fit -- Worst case, broken DSLR -- DONT TRY IT
