An incredibly talented artist friend of mine (Chantell Hager; http://phantasyfaces.com/) drew some pictures of a dragon for me, so I might model this creature in 3D for fun and practice. Seeing as how it is a decently cool model, I thought I'd surprise her with a pendant of the model in return. This will be my first Shapeways model, and I am excited to see how it will turn out.

Can't wait to see this printed! I'll check on it. It certainly is a beautiful design.

Well, I guess we'll have to see about that... This is my first Shapeways model, and I'm excited to learn about how my model will come out through this process. If something needs to be changed... well, there's a reason that I named this 'v0'; Short for Version 0 (of however many revisions it takes to get it right)

The design is lovely, but I think it's too thin to be printed at that size. Also, I'm very certain that, even if it could be printed, it'd draw blood from the wearer. I'd suggest thicker wings with rounded points, maybe a slightly flatter build?
