UPDATE02/12: The ring has been redone and should hopefully work with silver. As usual any other metal other than silver will give a more faded less detailed result due to the printing process. Get it in silver for the high detailed look, or in other metals for the antique battle worn look. "An assassin's ring with a gap in the bottom to activate a hidden blade. The ring itself is about 20mm wide, that should translate to 10¼ ring size in the US."

@Ginasa this ring can't be manufactured at this size, because it would be to thin, making it too fragile to wear, and the details would be faded as well. I'm sorry.
July 2, 2012, 4:30 pm
Would the details be too faded if I were to request this in a size 6.5?
July 1, 2012, 9:46 pm
Will it work well with the brass finish?
April 24, 2012, 6:14 am
When is the ring shipping? I still haven't gotten a tracking number
April 17, 2012, 6:09 am
would you recommend me stainless steel, silver or silver glossy? i want a high detailed look but it also shoudn´t be to much shiny. and is there a gap in every ring? my ring size is 10 up to 10 1/2. Many thanks in advance ;D

@Aleksandra5 No you can get it in any material you want, but if you want a clean smooth jewelry look, silver in your only option. If not it will come out looking like the other ring(the sand down one). Likewise if you would rather have a ring without a hole you can order the "sand down" ring in silver, and it will come out smooth and clean. I added a render to show how it should look in silver. Silver has better definition, stainless steel is cheaper. Feel free to order what suits you, I just like people to know what they are getting so that they are not disappointed when they receive it.
March 2, 2012, 6:56 pm
Wait... so if I want this, not sand down one, I can only get it in silver?
March 2, 2012, 6:24 pm
@Aleksandra5 The ring is available at this link, , remember to order it in silver, not stainless steel if you don't like the look of the other ring(which does not necessarily have the sand down if ordered in silver, but people like ordering in stainless steel, so I show off the stainless steel version so people know what they're getting.)
March 2, 2012, 6:08 pm
Alright. Could I get this ring (NOT the sand down one) in size 9.5 please?
March 2, 2012, 5:22 pm
@Aleksandra5 Unfortunately due to the way the ring is modeled I cannot close the hole, if I may suggest an alternate ring without a hole . , for the engraving the best way is to take the ring to a jeweler, that way you'll have the best looking result. I cannot guarantee that the inscription would print correctly.
March 2, 2012, 10:07 am
Is it possible to have the ring engraved inside? To have a quote in there instead of the hole?
March 2, 2012, 12:45 am
Hey buddy I live in Brazil. How can i make a request? Am I crazy to buy.
February 24, 2012, 3:03 am

February 19, 2012, 11:08 am
@brad.W Shapeways is experiencing some technical problems, the ring will be available in the requested size as soon as it's fixed.
February 17, 2012, 6:12 pm
Could you resize it to fit a 22.2 mm?
February 17, 2012, 5:06 am
@Novastar The ring itself can be printed in stainless steel, but the details but the little wings detail will be a little washed out.
January 22, 2012, 7:09 pm
okay thx. i think im going to take stainless steel or bronze
January 18, 2012, 7:47 pm
@22Vengeance44 It's never be tested in silver in this size. It passed the initial test, but should it pose a problem to print, your order would be canceled and you would be refunded.
January 18, 2012, 7:01 pm
my size is 10¼ or 11 . would there be a issue ? with silver
January 18, 2012, 6:11 pm
@22Vengeance44 silver currently in metal is the only option for full, but this particular model is known to cause issues with silver on smaller sizes.
January 18, 2012, 4:02 pm
@edrice wich material would show me all details?
January 18, 2012, 1:52 pm
@22Vengeance44 Stainless steel or bronze will give you an antique look, but you loose some detail but you loose some definition due to the current printing process.
January 17, 2012, 8:15 pm
wich material would you recommend me? it should look like one from assassins creed
January 17, 2012, 7:06 pm
I tried to make it work for silver printing, but fixing one part seems to brake another.
December 18, 2011, 11:14 am
I'm also very interested in this in silver, and possibly slightly wider with a larger logo and a little thicker? I know its alot to ask!
December 18, 2011, 2:08 am
Just ordered on in stainless! What kind of modifications would it take to be printed in silver? Because if its too much then don't worry about it.
December 5, 2011, 11:34 pm
@Mycophobia The request sizes are available below.
December 5, 2011, 11:44 am
Sorry, I have three sizes that I need now. 8, 9, and 11.5. Thanks! I'll order them all once they're up.
December 5, 2011, 3:58 am
@izacky the ring cannot be printed in silver in it's current state, I will have to alter the design to make it work. The ring is available in 9.5 at this link.
December 2, 2011, 7:24 am
And would it be possible to get this ring in 9.5?
December 1, 2011, 10:57 pm
I tried ordering the 8.5 one but it got rejected due to the details being too thin. Is it possible to fix this?
December 1, 2011, 10:54 pm
@Mycophobia The ring is now available at this link.
November 29, 2011, 7:56 am
Could you make a version of this in the size 8.5? Thank you very much!
November 29, 2011, 5:14 am
@Cmvisuals the ring is now available in 12 1/4 at this link.
November 27, 2011, 12:30 pm
Im Looking to buy this ring in 12 1/4. Can that be possible? Thank you!
November 26, 2011, 9:09 pm
Some of the detail were not apparent when printed in stainless steel due to technical reasons, so it was deactivated for now. If you want a specific size just ask in the comments the size you want. I will the create a new product at the size you need, with a slightly thicker detail for stainless steel.
November 18, 2011, 9:36 pm
Can I get this in another size and in stainless steel?
November 18, 2011, 9:03 pm
@ Mr COS I've your requested decorative ring, it's available here , regards. Edrice
November 17, 2011, 3:29 pm
Hey Edrice i just want to have this ring and use it for wearing and the other first design for display. PLEASE i want it bad
November 17, 2011, 10:24 am
Sure just ask what size you want! I'll create a new product with the size specified in the title.
November 12, 2011, 11:20 am
Can I get this in any other sizes?
November 12, 2011, 7:08 am
I won't redo the first iteration as I don't want people hurting themselves. If I were to do another ring version, it would be an entirely new design.
November 3, 2011, 12:06 pm
Can you still sell the first design, I would like to buy two of these but want one with a different look, and maybe because you have more space for the crest try put in the bottom part of the logo you know what I mean ? The part with the triangle and the line at the bottom.
November 3, 2011, 9:11 am
The design has been modified, the issue should be greatly minimized.
November 2, 2011, 10:47 am
I mean I want the best material for it
November 2, 2011, 7:07 am
hey just a thought but maybe you could sand down the sharp edges or just change the design, I'm planing on buying this but want is the best good looking one. even though it may hurt.
November 2, 2011, 7:03 am
Thanks for your feedback I've modified the description to help mitigate the problem.
November 1, 2011, 10:19 am
also stains your finger orange
October 30, 2011, 8:52 am
very nice but only problem is the top has sharp edges , wich cut people and snags on everything.
