There are six regular convex polytopes in 4D, which are analogous to the five Platonic solids in 3D. This is the fifth, the hyperdodecahedron, a remarkably beautiful object brought to my attention by George Hart.

Here it's shown in a Schlegel diagram so you can see all 120 dodecahedral cells, though most are transformed by perspective: in this projection, the only regular dodecahedra are the biggest one on the outside and the tiniest one at the center.

@Narada_Dan_Vantari I wish so too. It is technically possible at this size -- for a while I was doing them in steel -- but does not meet the current design guidelines.

Beautiful. I wish you could find a way to do the complete 600 cell at this size so that I could have the whole 4D 'Platonics' collection. This is probably the most complex realistically achievable at this size though ?

I have a strong urge to say that this is not a 4d object, simply a 4d one printed onto a 3d plane. Trolling aside, I am a huge geometry geek, and while I prefer your gyroid, this one is certainly on my list.
