This is a pair of sprockets for making a polargraph drawing machine.  These are gears designed to drive 12mm pitch beaded cord - like from a roller blind. Have a look at www.polargraph.co.uk for more information.

@mcart4 Aha apparently this can't be printed in the colour material. The thickness of the sprue must make it too weak.

hey, these are excellent. could you 'allow' color options for the plastic please?

It is always nice to find the exact part or parts that you are looking for. I know that when ever I am trying to do a project, that I have a hard time sometimes getting the exact part for what I am doing. A lot of the times I find something really similar and just edit or sculpt it to be what I need it to be. Jak Manson | http://www.blinds2go.com.au/blind-parts/

@jweather Ha ha thanks! They're nice eh, much better than the ones I make with my reprap.

Thanks for posting these! My V-plotter works great with these and the 12mm beaded cord from fixmyblinds. And one of the coolest things about it is the 3D-printed sprockets -- most people are at least as impressed with that as the actual plotter!

@ChristianA Thank you! Yes lots of stuff on www.polargraph.co.uk, or www.instructables.com/id/Polargraph-Drawing-Machine/, and drawings on http://www.flickr.com/photos/euphy/sets/72157626497662024/.

@euphy These are absolutely great. Are there any instructions for how to create the polargraph drawing machine? Would love to see some drawings made with this machine.
