About this Product

This is a protector Cap for the GoPro Wide cameras with the housing in.
While the housing and the lens protector are very strong, I´ve noticed that due to its shape, the lens protector tends to be always the first thing to touch the floor.
So after having to buy a lens replacement for my GoPro, I think this coud be a good solution :)

This cap its completely closed, so no dust would enter. and the external shapes are there for using a elastic band for secure the cap in its place. with those "triangles2 the elastic band its going to stay in place, for sure.

Assembly pics are form first version, it fits great!
Second version is slightly improved and lighter
i have just uploaded a third version as the second one seems to have been too light and had not the inimun wall thickness. So sorry if anyone has had problems with the print and delivery :,(

Sorry for the delay in the response :( The actual model has 2 paths as I have found in the physical model it was more than enough (actually I dont use any rubber band at all, as it fixes pretty well just by pressure) I use the rubber band just when I put it in the backpack, to be sure it doesnt move at all The printing problem was totally solved. It seems the shapeways software it´s pretty strict on the tolerances, and while the cad has the wall thickness enough, the stl format tolerances messed it all. Strange also that the initial test was passed while the production software was the one that blocked it? I supossed the test should be the same on both moments Sorry for the problems

Oh and does the new design still have pathes for 4 rubber bands like the one in the photo you took, or is does it only have two pathes like the minimalist lens cap?

I went to order this and i recieved an email from Shapeways that it doesn't comply with the print standards. Can you update the cap so that it does comply, because i was really excited to get one.
