Scale: 1/4800; Contains the following highly-detailed WW2 French Navy battleships:

FN.BB.Richelieu (1943 post refit configuration): No stern aircraft equipment, instead more 40mm Bofors and 20mm Oerlikons throughout the ship. Revised conning tower.

FN.BB.Jean Bart (1942 as would've been completed): Configuration as she would've been completed if not her engagement at Casablanca, Morocco. AKA Richelieu1940 as evident by the presence of stern aircraft equipment, the configuration of the conning tower, and the 3 dual-4in guns amidships. She has 37mm cannons instead of the 40mm Bofors.

Hi BlackidowPilot, Yeah, sad to say the French Navy would have to fall (way) back the space race :(

Alas, I don't see anyone picking up the gauntlet and taking the French Navy to the stars! :( You were my most recent hope... :(

Hi BlackWidowPilot! I could consider translating these ships into anime-style space battleships *cough*Yamato*cough*, but unfortunately not any time soon. If by then (all major WW2 nations have a viable gaming fleet) nobody has yet done a project, I would consider it... Cheers!

Very nice to see the WW2 French Navy getting the treatment for wargaming! As a sci-fi wargamer, I have been trying to get someone - anyone!- to translate these unique and dangerous ships into anime-style space battleships! Would you consider offering such models down the road, anime-style spin-offs of these warships?
