@admiralducksauce Cheers that's really helpful! I'm still uncertain about the plastics themselves, which ones is best etc, its hard to tell. But I reckon I'll be ordering a few of these guys soon!

@November here's another shot of one of my painted (Transparent Detail) guys with some old school GW minis. As you can see, he comes out about the same height as the Inquisitor in Termie armor. Making them shorter but more chunky would involve remodeling, and scaling them down made them look anemic; not chunky enough. So they're tall, but IMO they're a good match for the bulk.

@November They are a little taller than a standard SM I think (haven't got any legit SM's to put them against), but I think they would make an awesome proxy. They look cooler in my opinion, seeing as I have wanted some for, well, when did the original Starcraft come out? ;) As to plastic quality, they are nice. As you can see, the painted one looks really nice (even better in person I think). Hope that helps.

@mcuher2 In terms of size and model/plastic quality, would you say that these Terran Marines could blend in with an army of 40k Space Marines?

I got mine painted, and it looks awesome- as I figured it would. The plastic accepted the paint well enough for a good dry brushing. Details in some areas are sharp, and in others are less so. Even polished, the plastic has a rough texture that shows when painted, and you will need to clean off the remaining plastic dust (I used a dental tool, and it took about twenty minutes). All in all, a good little figure. I would like ten macros of these to storm across the tabletop. Maybe some accompanying Firebats as well. The only problem with them that I can see (and I have been waiting since the original Starcraft came out for these) is that the price point is steep. REALLY steep. As in to use these the way I would use them (as Space Marines in Devastator squads and Tac squads) I would spend nearly a grand. And that is ONLY tac and Devastator squads. If the price point could come down, I would by a squad at a time when I had the money. To help everyone decide if these will work for them, I have included a photo with other less and more well known minis so that you can see size. The model I bought is mounted on a 30mm base (they fit those very well). I'd say that if I could get more than a couple at a time, I would build a whole army of these in short order. :)
