These pieces have been redesigned, as seen on the close up picture, to make them more affordable to buy the set of one side. You could order the other side in a contrasting colour, or dye the pieces yourself.
This has been done to save on the start up costs, and also by having a revised wall thickness, plus the amount of detail has been reduced to keep the total of 'triangles' to under 1,000,000.
All the pieces were designed with the smallest wall thickness available which is the WSF. Most of the piece is 1.08mm but were the indentations are the wall thickness is reduced to .7mm.
The head of the Knight is solid.
My original idea was to have the top of the pieces made smooth and polished, while the base is left with a textured finish.
