Good point, maybe Simon can take a photo and upload it. But I think I'll suggest it to Shapeways too, it can't be too hard for them to take a quick pic before boxing it up for shipping.

I really think Shapeways or the designer should photograph the actual finished product so there are no surprises. The model looks wonderful, but if it's drastically different, I can understand any frustration from a consumer.

Hello Simon, Thank you very much for supporting the project, and for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that the result wasn't up to the expectations... Unfortunately 3D-printing in ceramics is a very experimental process still, and detailed designs don't come out very well. I'm sure Shapeways is hearing you and is workng hard to improve their Glazed Ceramics pieces. Bernat / cunicode

I was disappointed with the quality of the cup. The gap between the 3D model and the finished product is sadly, quite large.
