@TastyPaper: yes, you are right. This was a mistake. The 1 cm3 is now available in all materials except ceramics (it is too small for ceramics). Thank you for reporting. This is one centimeter cube. It is 1cmx1cmx1cm. If you have a very precise weighing scale, you can measure the density of the material. Then by comparing with the weight of an object you ordered you can find its volume, and thus the mark-up. It is more convenient than plunging the object in water to determine its volume. If your weighing scale is not precise enough, please, use the 1dm3.
