Alternative Truncated Sphere D8

This is another solution for the Truncated Sphere D8, different from the one based on a regular octahedron.

This die is inspired by the repulsion force polyhedra. In fact, the underlying polyhedron (not rounded) is a trapezohedron. It looks like the shape that can be obtained through this technique with 8 points repulsing each others.
But in this case, I calculated the positions of those points to have a maximal radius for the circles resulting from the intersection of this underlying polyhedron with a sphere. The result is a truncated sphere with 8 circular faces of same radius.

This die is made of a shell of 1.5mm that contains support material to make it heavier. The engraved numbers have a 0.75 mm depth.

@rmahood Sorry, the rendering is correct (numbers on vertices), not the picture. This is an old picture: previously I was offering 3 kinds of numberings and among them the was this option, "numbers on the faces" (so you had to check under the die what the result was). I will remove it. Sorry again for the confusion.

The model doesn't look like the photo... which one is correct?

Thanks :) This one is based on a Tetragonal Trapezohedron: http://mathworld.wolfram.com/TetragonalTrapezohedron.html
