This is a simple 3D part that, when combined with these magnets (http://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=D201-N52) will allow you do use a Smart Cover with the original iPad 1.

Have anyone tried the spine? Great desing but so many magnets may harm the iPads systems... Any feedback would be useful...

Can anyone tell me if they have tried this... and if so, how is it working out day to day. It looks like it works great, but I am realizing that it is going to take a bit of cash to get everything together that I need to get this rolling... any news is good news

@jeff Unfortunately this model cannot be printed in the Alumide, the walls are too thin.
