Interlocking puzzles are rated by counting the number of sliding moves needed to remove each piece.

This is a level 17 (10.3.1.2) puzzle, which means that it takes ten moves to remove the first piece, another three moves for the second piece and so on.

The gap between the pieces has been very accurately specified to create a complex interlocking cube with a smooth movement which is neither too tight nor too loose.
