This is a print of a Geodimeter Model 6 electronic distance measurement instrument from 1965 in 1/4th scale. I made it as a Christmas ornament for surveyors.
They can be dyed as they are printed, however, these are printed with a laser sintered plastic and should be sealed after dying for best longevity. They should also be sealed prior to painting. Basically they are porous by nature. I use Future floor shine by Pledge, however, any sealer for plastic will work.
This model is designed with screw threads in the bottom to screw into the matching legs. The GST-30 legs can be found here. They are the wrong legs the GST-20 legs will be available soon
