039004-02 Tamiya Willy's Wheeler Fog Lamp Lenses

AMPro Engineering introduces fog lights for the Tamiya Willy's Wheeler. This clear lens is designed for a 3mm LED but a 5mm can fit into the housing that is required to make this unit fit onto the body. This unit, coupled with the housing, clamp onto the body and prevent damage to the shell. They are embossed with the "Marchal" branding. Due to the manufacturing process, the screw stand offs tend to have residual powder in them. Cleaning, by hand using a 1.4mm drill bit may be required. Also, these fit a 1.5mm screw but have no threads on them. The screws go in easily and may need thread lock to stay in place. We found that the transparent plastic can crack under the stresses of the screws, so a light glue or thread lock is the key. This model will require either "Transparent detail" as a material or "Frosted Ultra Detail". Transparent detail is what is pictured in the photographs and has a nice clear look with a very slight gradient on rounded faces. The Frosted Ultra Detail has a very light fog to it but a highly polished and finished look that almost looks injection molded. One order has two lenses.Want to get a set? +
