About this Product

Kite kit for building a 16-cell tetrahedral kite. Alexander Graham Bell used and invented tetrahedral kites to prove his theory of flight. He also flew and built this shape. This single line kite is very stable and easy to fly. Mathematicians call this a Sierpinski triangle.

It has 3 spare '6 tube/rod taking' connectors so in theory you can connect as many of these 16-cells together to make an infinitely large kite.

Due to my connection system it can be assembled and disassembled relieving you of the need to own a B-52 flying fortress hangar to fly such a kite.

This system is developed for 3mm thick rods. I use 25cm 3mm bamboo skewers, i read Bell used rods of ~25cm as well.
