Product Description
Fall Apart Cube was suggested as concept by Nathan Wilson. The puzzle is a bandaged cube, like Mefferts' Bandage Cube. However, whereas Bandage Cube blocks bandage moves, Fall Apart Cube allows them, resulting in pieces falling off. To play this puzzle, one must accurately keep track of bandaged pieces.

August 2014, I used this puzzle to get even with Laurie Brokenshire. Laurie is an avid puzzle collector and magician. At the International Puzzle Party in London in 1989, he made me perform in a magic act, where I had to show a disappeared handkerchief, and as a result a complete magic prop fell in pieces. All of this was part of the act of course, but I got a good scare plus feeling of doing something horribly wrong. So I handed Laurie the Fall Apart Cube. He tried turning the green face, which turns without problem. Then he turned the white face and many pieces fell out. "Oh Laurie, what have you done, you broke my puzzle". Revenge at last, after 25 years! (Laurie, thanks for buying the first prototype!)
