The ZenClip is a clip for the DJI Phantom and Zenmuse H3-2D gimbal. It allows you to safely secure your gimbal while transporting your Phantom. This version is for the Phantom 2 and Zenmuse H3-2D gimbal *** INSTRUCTIONS*** The ZenClip requires a spring (**Not included**) from a common clothes pin and a rubber band for added hold. *** This product was designed for the H3-2D gimbal. It will secure the H3-3D gimbal but the camera and gimbal will not face flush with the front of the phantom - (see customer photo)*** *** UPDATES *** (2014.06.06) The tolerances on the groves for the spring have been adjusted so the spring sits flush.

Received mine today and not exactly pleased with it. I'm using this on a Phantom 2 with Zenmuse H3-3D gimbal. Couple issues I have are: 1) CAN bus hub must be moved. This is never mentioned in the description for some reason. I use my CAN bus for my mini iOSD. I was able to slide the port up the leg about an inch but had to redo some zip ties with my particular setup. *Note: My Phantom 2 that I bought new came with the CAN-bus installed on the left front leg (from camera's POV); others might not come this way. 2) The rubber band is very necessary. Not sure why it's stated that the rubber band is for "added hold" as there is zero "hold" without it. When I place the top portion of the clip against the top of the gimbal/camera, I have about 1/8" of room between the bottom of the clip and the bottom of the gimbal/camera. This may be by design but without the rubber band the gimbal still has lots of range of motion as it can rotate out of the clip easily. These aren't huge issues but there is definitely room for improvement with this design. Another point not related to design is to be sure to use a strong clothes pin spring. The first one I used was a bit weak and caused the jaws of the Zenclip to be looser than they should be but I found a Spring with obviously better tension and it's much better.
