This is a solid die, so the price is a little higher due to the amount of material used.

Oh .. cool .. I see it now ... do you plan to make a version of this die .. with numbers? ... if you need some help doing that ... I know most if not all of the Shapeways dice designers ... who should be able to give you some pointers

Probably best to use a sharpie (or similar other brand of fine marker) and number the faces 1 to 13. The central portion of each facet is designed to face upwards (while the outer two sections provide a solid base). As regards "Fairer", the proportions of the die are such that the side with seven facets is slightly heavier, enough to bias the two cone like sections to fall to the seven-sided section seven times out of thirteen.
