About this Product

This is a close packing of 13 spheres: the centers of 12 of the spheres are the vertices of a cuboctahedron (a cube with corners cut off at the midpoints); and one is at its center. The spheres are each formed from 4 great circle strips which are parallel to an inscribed tetrahedron, and rotated so that the strips align with the contact points of the spheres. This was designed in Mathematica and thickened in Blender. The strips are .9 mm square, printable in both white and colored plastics, and some metals.
