ok I've discovered that the printing orientation, which we can't specify at the moment, might affect how well this model is printed.

thanks joris larger versions of this model - to give an idea of how much this one might flex: http://www.shapeways.com/model/18225/flexible_whale_12cm.html http://www.shapeways.com/model/18224/flexible_whale_16cm.html I suspect this 8cm one will be a bit more rigid because the connecting bits were thickened to be sturdy enough for cleaning, but it should still be bendable.
