@MortomerFaust O yes, try to remove the sprue material as it might get in the way of fitting. Thank you for your comments!

@fakebusker83 My apologies. I was using a work computer that blocks most images, but I was able to see them when using my home computer. I will attach them when I get out of work this morning, and I can't wait! When I separate the two pieces, should I remove all the sprue plastic that is connecting them together? Oh, and the purple really is a good match to U.S. Blitzwing, thank you for designing these!

Hi @MortomerFaust , are you able to see the photos on this page? There is a cavity on the inside of Blitzwing's shoulder blades that you can fit the pieces into. They should fit snugly via friction.

Received my order today, but I am not really sure how to attach these to Blitzwing. Any suggestions or instructions are welcome...

I cannot wait for these parts to be at my door! Blitzwing is a terrific toy, but those shoulders really hold it back from being truly great. Can't wait to fix the problem with those dang shoulders. Thank you for making these fakebuster83.

Hi @MortomerFaust , the pieces do not have to be removed for transformation. The dyeing process used is not consistent and there will be variations in colour between models, but the purple should be a close match for the figure. You can see more info here: http://www.shapeways.com/materials/strong-and-flexible-plastic

Are these able to stay attached during transformation, or do they need to be removed first? Is the purple Polished Strong & Flexible Plastic a close match to the U.S. Generations Blitzwing?

These are, quite simply, outstanding. A much-needed fix! They fit great w/ no modding needed and work perfectly.

Thanks @GamorreanJedi ! Let me know if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help!

Thank you for the info, btw I like your work it's very impressive.
May 3, 2014, 2:16 am
@GamorreanJedi I see. The best and cheapest is White Strong Flexible, in my experience. For this small fix you won't need more than that. All the best!

I have never ordered from anything like this before so I'm trying to learn what the best materials an such are
May 3, 2014, 1:59 am
@GamorreanJedi They might be looser as polishing takes the top layer of material out. You can thicken the pieces with glue. But why would you choose to polish it when the pieces won't be obvious on the figure?
May 3, 2014, 1:47 am
Will these work in polished s&f?
May 3, 2014, 1:23 am
@mechking4511 It holds the arms in well enough. However the pieces might wriggle out during transformation, so keep that in mind or you can glue them permanently in. Or you can coat the sides with glue to make them tighter.

@fakebusker83 Yeah, I just wanted to know how well it worked in bot mode, I've been wanting to find a fix for my Blitzwing figure, and I just wanted to know if this worked well enough.
April 26, 2014, 10:26 pm
Hi @mechking4511 , in what respect? Do the arms hold together well in bot mold? Yes they do (at least for mine). I can rotate the entire arm around the shoulder without it dislocating (and the arms on my DD are tight).
April 26, 2014, 9:07 pm
I am curious though, how well does it hold up?
