Convair F2Y Sea Dart 6mm 1/285 (in flight)

The only model of the Convair F2Y Sea Dart in 6 mm scale. Design began in the late 'forties, when operating supersonic fighters from carriers seemed unlikely. Some consideration was given to carrying Sea Darts aboard submarines. Although only five were eventually built, the F2Y remains the only supersonic sea plane.
