A very successful study. I really like the simplicity of this form and the way the three shapes nest.
The StarTetrahedron is made of 2 intersecting tetrahedrons. It is widely known as the geometric Merkabah or Light Body. It represents the unification of the upward and downward polarities.
The tetrahedron is called the Simplex because it is the simplest straight edged 3D form. Yet the vertexes of the StarTetrahedron form the Cube which is the unit by which we measure space, and the intersection of the tetrahedrons form the Cubes 'dual' the Octahedron.
