Signa Curve Pendant

This is a very elegant and powerful piece. Although the design is not intentionally based off of sea shells that element is certainly apparent. There is something technical about the lines which gives it a futuristic and almost Sci-Fi feeling. The designs in this series begin as traditional vessel shapes; wine glasses, bottles, vases etc... In a 3D CAD program we manipulate them by poking holes, pulling and stretching the shapes. The results are organic forms with a repetitive nature. There are remnants of Math Art in the designs but the intent is to take it away from perfect symmetry to give them a more natural feel.
