Slice Megaminx was requested by Bram Cohen and Brandon Enright. Slice Megaminx is a Megaminx puzzle with an intricate set of gears inside. These gears cause opposite faces to turn in the same direction, as if they were connected by a solid rod. Slice Megaminx offers an interesting solving experience, because opposite corners always stay opposite of each other, again as if they were connected by a solid rod. The same is the case for opposite corners.
