What sort of temperature do these need to be heated to before they start bending? Would you be able to put your mask on and bend the lenses to your face with a hair dryer or would the heat required be to intense? @Lightman
July 14, 2014, 8:01 am
Are you only selling one or is it a pair??? @Lightman
June 16, 2014, 3:08 am
@Lightman do you have to 3D print the lenses or are they already made when they are bought?
June 7, 2014, 11:38 am
May 19, 2014, 7:55 pm
@Lightman do these bend with heat? Cause I want them to bend to my faceshell
May 19, 2014, 7:25 pm
Do they come with the mesh and everything in it? Or just the frames?
May 7, 2014, 9:58 pm
@omarab it's cheaper to buy in white and paint it yourself so I'm pretty sure I only made it available in white.. I recommend white polished
May 5, 2014, 4:49 am
@Lightman when you order these do they come black?
May 5, 2014, 4:38 am
@itsmeharry that's just a clear coat over the mesh to give it a shine. Not exactly sure what kind to get that kind of shine but it shouldn't be hard to figure out
May 1, 2014, 12:46 pm
@Lightman in this picture, it looks like there is a clear plastic lense over the mesh. Where can you buy this? Thanks in advance! :)
May 1, 2014, 12:14 pm
@Lightman I've seen a guy super glue them to his face shell like I have? Then taking it off!? The faceshell so it's bent the same way. He then puts 3 magnets in and yea... 3 magnets on the faceshell so then when it's under his mask the eyes magnetise to the faceshell so I wanna do that. But drilling a hole into the frame will be dangerous too Mmm :/ but thanks man. Just gotta save up and I'll get these :) mesh should be easy too to get

@Amazingspiderman_official ask as many questions as you need :) the lenses are made of the material you choose I recommend the strong white and flexible polished it's a very durable plastic material and the lenses bend so that you can form them to your face I recommend using a heat gun.
April 19, 2014, 11:34 am
Are the frames hard and what does it mean by "they bend"? It's expensive but I'm saving up. ? Is it good qaulity because I'll buy them soon :thanks again pal I'm sorry for all the questions.
April 19, 2014, 8:41 am
@Lightman ok thanks pal, I better save up. Just got my costume I need frames
April 17, 2014, 9:31 pm
@Amazingspiderman_official this item is just the black frame with you could use to magnetize to a faceshell but the mesh you have to get separately at somewhere like Home Depot, speaker mesh works the best, and for the shine use glossy paint and a glossy clear coat and everything should turn out perfectly
April 17, 2014, 5:22 pm
@Lightman also? Do you sell just the black part around the eyes so I can atleast get a cheap but good mesh? Then connect it to that, put a clear cover to make it look Shiny and maybe magnetise it to my face-shell ?
April 17, 2014, 7:37 am
Hey I need help man and quick, money is real low and I just got birthday money, I bought a tasm2 costume from zentai zentai and the eyes with it was $15? I want the costume to look unreal after I puff paint it but Now I ordered it with non because I thought they would be crap. I wanna know if the cost can go down? My gramps is in hospital and is gonna die soon from cancer :/ he loves spiderman and i don't know how to get the lenses onto the mask? I'm 16 and just wanna show him before his times up
April 17, 2014, 7:33 am
@zotomold shapeways takes care of printing and shipping you could probably talk to them about it but I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for them to get it to you fairly quickly
April 14, 2014, 6:28 pm
Where in NY is it shipped from? I live in NYC, if it's locally shipped I'd be willing to pick it up to save some money on shipping costs. Is that possible? Because I'd like to have the lenses hopefully within the next 2 weeks for an event I'm going to. I can order today.
April 14, 2014, 5:41 pm
@zotomold they are shipped from New York and take just a few days to print. I got tasm1 lenses I ordered for myself in just over a week and I'm in Florida. Sizes are based on the lens frames from the movie and a bounding box of exact size are just a live the comments here and just under the tags
April 14, 2014, 4:06 pm
2 questions : 1. how fast do these ship? 2. How big are the lenses? can the sizes be adjusted? ok, that was 3 questions.
April 14, 2014, 3:53 pm
is it flat
March 31, 2014, 12:51 am
@mr_spidey214 I would use acrylic the picture appears to be flat black spray paint
March 31, 2014, 12:43 am
how did you paint the black
March 31, 2014, 12:41 am
@mr_spidey214 speaker mesh you can get it from scrap or you can buy the mesh at Home Depot or similar
March 26, 2014, 11:13 pm
@Lightman where did you get your mesh
March 26, 2014, 10:49 pm
What is the best way to paint these? Since I'm looking for a nice polished clean look I wanted to know what is the best way.
March 20, 2014, 3:01 am
@Lightman i have a question. can you see through the lenses? If you can, how limited is the visibility?
March 15, 2014, 1:15 am
@Lightman thanks
February 12, 2014, 11:42 pm
@abdullah101 you cut the holes behind where the mesh goes, on the inside of the lense so you can see without the spandex in your way
February 12, 2014, 11:08 pm
@Lightman where do you cut the holes?
February 12, 2014, 11:00 pm
@Lightman I am really confused! So you glue the lenses and then you cut where, which part? Sorry if I am disturbing you.
February 12, 2014, 10:58 pm
@abdullah101 you'll have to cut holes in your spandex after gluing it on so it doesn't stretch and then add your mesh
February 12, 2014, 9:49 pm
@Lightman If you super glue it on the mask can you still see with the lenses.
February 12, 2014, 9:47 pm
@abdullah101 well when I made my amazing spiderman suit I used super glue but if you're uncomfortable with that check the costuming forums I'm sure there are several methods of doing it.
February 12, 2014, 9:45 pm
I'm making my own coseplay Amazing Spider Man 2 suit but I'm not sure how I could put these lenses in my fabric mask. I'm not sure if I should Super Glue them or not? Any ideas or help? Thanks!
February 12, 2014, 9:20 pm
@abdullah101 no the mesh needs to be bought separately because that material can't be printed but the lenses do have space to glue the mesh in.
February 12, 2014, 1:31 am
Do the lens come with the mesh like in the picture?
February 12, 2014, 1:26 am
@Lightman Thanks! I'm making my order soon!
February 11, 2014, 9:31 pm
@abdullah101 yes this set on lenses comes with two separate lenses, one for each side of your face.
February 11, 2014, 9:30 pm
DO these come in pairs?
