Product Description
An N scale (1:160 proportion) model of a standard gauge GE 25-ton industrial switching locomotive. This model is designed to fit a TGW (Tsugawa) TU-7T motorized chassis available from either Hobby Search or PlazaJapan on Ebay. Please note that the motor for this chassis runs on 4.5 volts. A resistor will need to be wired in series with the motor in order to operate it at normal N scale voltages. The coupler pockets are designed to fit Micro-Trains 001-02-052 (2004-1) body-mount couplers.
It is highly recommended that you also purchase the optional interior weight (available here) that is designed to fit inside the hood. This weight is needed to improve the model's traction.
