The original drinking game, now pint sized. A yard of ale dates back to the 17th century and was originally a yard (.91 cm) tall glass with an official volume of 3 pints. The difficulty of the game is finishing the glass without ever lowering the glass. The bulb at the bottom creates a wave of beer when reached. First to finish without lowering the glass wins. The glass is 9" tall and has a volume of precisely 1 pint assuming 0.5" of head.
