These frames allow you to re-use the lenses from broken prescription glasses or reading glasses. The purchase or repair of glasses can be expensive. These give you an option to continue the use of the lenses in a pinch. And in the case of cheap reading glasses It seemed like a waste to be throwing out the lenses when the fames would break, so I made these to allow the lenses to live on. Just remove the lenses from your broken frames, and stick them into the Cheaters. It’s a friction fit, so the lenses will come out if you are rough with them, or want to change them. I suppose you could use a little glue if you want a more permanent fit, but I use them without glue, as the friction fit allows you to add and remove lenses at will. The frames come in three pieces held together with a sprue. Cut the sprue, assemble the frames and add your lenses…voila!
