Joined Together - Interlocking Hearts Pendant

Thanks to Shapeways new "interlocking metals" this is now finally available in Silver, Brass and Bronze !

These two are a little twisted but they keep staying together forever.

Two hearts interlocked and freely moving - seamlessly 3D printed in one part.

These are actually two heart shaped and interlocked Mobius Strips, simple but fascinating geometrical surfaces :

A Mobius Strip is a surface with only one side, it can easily be created by taking a paper strip, giving it a half-twist, and then joining the ends of the strip together to form a loop. If an ant were to crawl along the length of this strip, it would return to its starting point having traversed the entire strip on both sides of the original paper without ever crossing an edge.
