Here is what I could find on Maquis ship variants, including both versions of the Fighter/Raider.

@Mechanoid I am glad I could help. As you probably know, scale in Star Trek is a questionable thing at best. I am only aware of the two official scales, Raider and Fighter. The most common being the Raider at 68.5 meters as shown in Star Trek Voyager's pilot "Care Taker". That ship was designed to be about 20% of the length of Voyager. Before that the Fighter model was modified into the Raider and used Throughout the DS9 series most likely without much consideration being given to exact size. What you have here is a situation where there are several versions of correct. The official scale for the fighter is "shuttle scale" 24M sounds about right and a quick search reveals that unofficially that is correct. without an official scale from Paramount visually that length works from what is seen on screen. Then of course there is the Raider with an official length of 68.5M, however visual accounts of this ship in action will show other sizes. Star Trek producers and special effects readily admit that they do tend to make ships smaller or larger for dramatic effect. The 48M Raider is probably a result of this. Here is a link to a site that has a history of the studio model, it might help you further. http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Studio_models_(TNG)#Maquis_fighter.2Fraider

@Cannis Thank You. I have been unable to find any pictures to confirm that ship. But the cockpit is different from what I was told. So the model you posted pictures of is the fighter, aka the Ma'Jel Class? I just didn't know it was a fighter class, or I could have found it on my own. I'm such a ditz. That means there is a 3rd ship, one that is larger than my version that I have been informed of, and one smaller. I'v been told there is a 68 meter variation, my Ju'Day Class at 60 meters, some variation at 48 meters and now the Ma'Jel at 24 meters. If that is correct, maybe someone can locate pictures of the 2 missing variations. Then I can try to get those done.

Just FYI this ship is from the NG episode "Preemptive Strike" It is very similar to the Maquis raider but is shuttle sized (note the different cockpit) it is called the Maquis fighter . Which the Maquis raider is actually a kit-bash of.

My test prints finally arrived today. They are fantastic. I will get one painted up over the holidays and get a pic posted as soon as possible. These DO print without issue in WSF material.
