Product Description
Set of 12 track skids for 1:35 scale Sherman bogies, designed specifically for DML and Academy bogies with separate skids. Complete with a drilling template for 1mm mounting holes and 0.6mm holes in the bogie face and on top for the volute spring compression access holes. (hold template against top & face of bogie for alignment.) Don't forget to leave a bit of the sprue pegs on the skids for mounting in the holes.
This set could be used to replace poorly detailed skids on other kits (Italeri, Tamiya, early Dragon) with a little effort.
While bent brass skids are available (and the Tasca plastic ones are fine!) I found myself with lots of spare DML bogies that had no skids - hence this set!
