This 3 layer cookie cutter I originally designed for my family's Advent season. The outer "Santa" is the actual cutter which gives the cookies their Santa Claus shape. The second layer is 2 mm (~0.08 inches) higher and imprints the head onto the cookie. The third layer is again 2 mm (~0.08 inches) higher and not just imprints the big bushy beard but also stiffens and gives this cookie cutter its amazing unique look.
In order to get best results roll your dough to about 5-6 mm (0.20-0.24 inches) thickness so that the imprints carve deep enough to become clearly visible on the cookies after baking.
