G is for Glycine. Use this amino acid bead to build a small protein. In 2009 the first discovery of extraterrestrial glycine was confirmed. The NASA spacecraft, Stardust, took a sample from the comet named Wild 2 during an expedition in 2004. It brought back some comet dust for scientists to analyze. That mission's results bolstered the theory of panspermia, which claims that the "seeds" of life are widespread throughout the universe.
