I have never heard of vintage lighters, I would have to make the ap still. For now I could manualy design in the initials in whatever font you like and put them wherever.

I'm ready to try it in plastics with the RP initials. Let me know where and how to use the web app and quote me with initials on both sides. If I like what I see, I may fork out the big money for the silver. I think the handmade brass covers come from a guy in NY. Do a search on eBay and you'll find his many styles. The silver ones are usually rarer and are made by Navajo and other tribes. Brass is usually less than $30 and silver types vary in price, but can hit $100 plus depending on the artistry. Have you ever considered re-creating vintage lighters? That would be a heck of a money-making op. Some are simple, some are complex.

@RobberBaron305 Sure, I am interested in adding initials to, I could even make it scripted to add the initials to one or both sides so people can just add initials using a web app. Either side would work as the design is symmetrical. It would be expensive for silver though(~$100), bronze or brass would be a bit cheaper(~$70). correction for comment below: it could be printed in silver

@skyfly200 Hello, I bought a hand made brass Bic cover on eBay with my the initial R Right on it. It blew me away. If you can offer this in metals and it's not too expensive, I'd buy it. Ofcourse, we're hoping the fit would be right..... Now, if you could integrate the capital letters RP on the left side, that would be mind-boggling. I'm right handled, so I'd like to see my initials when I'm using it. I figure thin tall blockish letters about 1-1/2" or 2" would look magnificient. Now, if you would do this customization, I would pay more ofcourse, but you would have a product that everyone would want. Everyone that uses a BIC that is, or wants to give one as a gift. You do have one of the better designs that I've seen on this website, so I do think you have a winner. With some tweaking you could make a serious seller. Now, the initials thing could be improved one more notch, if you could do the initials on both sides. Then, it would matter if your buyer is a lefty or a righty.... Let me know what you can do.... tabaccopuro@yahoo.com

@RobberBaron305 Yes it could be made in stainless, though the fit would need slight adjustment. I could make a version for metal if you are interested.
