Platonic Progression Earrings - Clean

This is one variation in my series of earrings based on Platonic solids wireframes. This design features clean lines and a round wire shape. The model includes rings that connect the Platonic solids so it is limited to being printed in the Strong and Flexible plastics. The model contains two earrings, so when you place an order for this model you get a pair.  The two earrings will come with a loop connecting them at the dodecahedrons; you can snip the loop with fingernail clippers or snips to separate them.  (The earrings come this way so that Shapeways can treat them as a single object, which is easier to handle.)

All that needs to be added to the printed parts are earwires or other findings, but you can also replace the printed connecting rings with metal jumprings for a little added shine. If you aren't interested in doing the assembly yourself, we offer such complete or modified earrings in my Etsy shop, although the range of colors and styles in stock varies all the time.
